CERCHEM CVBA, is a Belgian corporation, founded in 1989. CERCHEM CVBA can commercialise scientific goods and services. Its main activities are with a number of international scientific organisations: AACC International and its European Section Cereals and Europe, APS, ISMPMI, CRS, ASBC and MBAA. CERCHEM CVBA is acting as the European office for those groups. A major task is to establish and maintain contacts with related scientific organisations and to build and maintain a (European) network to better serve the respective members. CERCHEM is involved in organising multiple courses/symposia a year at different locations in Europe. CERCHEM helps finding suitable faculty, takes the registrations, and handles practical arrangements with hotels or institutes involved, assists in preparing course manuals, books of abstracts or proceedings and takes care of the logistic needs and the promotion. CERCHEM helps to maintain and improve the visibility of the groups in many ways and sometimes provides assistance with services organised by the diverse associations: ring-test services, selling of publications, identifying authors, contacts with other publishing houses, maintaining membership and subscription records, networking for technical and scientific advice, serving as contact address for local divisions, establishing personal contacts between members, attending and exhibiting fairs/trade shows, attending and providing staff assistance during meetings etc.

In December 2008 CERCHEM stopped its activities and participation in HEALTHGRAIN.
