The Food, Consumer Behaviour and Health Research Centre is a multidisciplinary research centre within the University of Surrey, headed by Prof. Richard Shepherd and Dr Monique Raats, which brings together researchers from psychology, nutrition and management in order to address issues concerned with food and consumer behaviour. The centre has extensive links with potential users of the research, including UK government departments (in particular the Food Standards Agency), industry, trade organisations and consumer organisations and representatives. Members of the research centre have extensive experience of work on consumer attitudes and beliefs, including the current projects outlined below.
