ANET – New Media Solutions (Allerstorfer & Beutel OG) is a SME IT service provider in Austria. The company is member of the "Professional Association of Management Consultants and Information Technology Experts" of the Chamber of Commerce Vienna and is in business since 1999. They are focused in developing web applications and software for scientific areas, especially related to Food Science and Technology. One of its main products is a web search engine available in 25 languages (called "HomepageSearchEngine") which is used in thousands of websites all over the world.
Examples of customers include the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), Vienna University of Technology, International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC), governmental organisations, University professors and teachers of higher technical schools.
EU supported projects ANET has been involved with include Demenet Region, the Socrates "Food Net" ERASMUS Thematic Network and the "ISEKI" ERASMUS 3 Thematic Network Application.
In the HEALTHGRAIN project, ANET participates in module 5's work package 5.2 (HEALTHGRAIN website). It's main role is to setup and manage this website, including the communication platform Moodle.
