Buhler is your global technology partner for efficient production systems, engineering solutions and the associated services - in food processing, chemical process engineering, and die-casting. Buhler employees generate genuine added value for customers.

Leading market position. Buhler is the leader in its business fields, both in terms of process technology and of market share. The Group has gained the undisputed market leadership in a number of markets. These include efficient production systems for processing and producing flour, chocolate and cocoa, printing inks and upgraded PET.

Promising growth markets characterize the organization's activities. A number of examples may illustrate this potential:
Buhler supplies industrial plants for producing foods to cover the world's growing population and to cater to its needs.
Buhler sets standards in the animal feed manufacturing industry. Feed production for animals of all species is becoming increasingly significant, since the feed requirement of animals grows along with the global population. And increasingly stringent sanitation requirements are calling for ever-new process technologies.
Buhler is a powerful player in the development of thermal processes for plastics. For example, today the raw material for every other PET bottle in the world is produced on Buhler systems. The Group's novel PET recycling process allows the reuse of post-consumer PET for food applications.
Buhler supports the automotive industry in the development of lighter-weight and safer cars: Increasing the share of aluminium in automobiles is a challenge that Buhler meets with its new process technologies.

Progressive family-owned enterprise. Continuity and progress distinguish the Group. It is directed by the fourth generation of the Buhler family, by owner and chairman of the board Urs Bühler. This stable ownership forms an excellent basis for the sound further development of the organization. Fast paths of decision and a focus on generating genuine added value for its customers characterize the Buhler Group, whose employees are strongly committed to the company and its customers.
